Achilles International

Description

Achilles’s mission is to “Encourage disabled people to participate in mainstream athletics in order to promote personal achievement.  We promote support and training to runners at all levels.”

Achilles is changing lives everyday and has the largest number of athletes with disabilities participating in the New York Marathon.

There is now a Tucson chapter of Achilles!  We meet on Saturdays at 9 AM at Reid Park near Ramada 22.  You can find us on Face Book at “Achilles International, Tucson AZ” or email us at achillestucson@gmail.com.  You may also call or text Kirsten Williams vice president at (520) 358-1042 or Lupita Hernandez President (520) 940-2494.  We welcome anybody whether you would like to walk around the park or are training for a marathon.  Please come and join us.  We look forward to running with you!
