T5K is Tucson's Fastest 5k....... SATURDAY RACE!

Shane Carr and Stephanie Wenneborg are taking over one of the fastest 5Ks in the West! This PR fast course provides the perfect opportunity for a 5K Personal Record. Your winter mileage is built. Your spring speed work will be done. Now it is time to set that new PR before summer!  

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Youth On Their Own, a 501(c)(3) Dropout prevention agency.  Educating Homeless Teens.....Investing in Arizona's Future. 

Mother's Day weekend. Spend a Saturday morning with your family at Reid Park. Every mom deserves a PR on her special day.

Date and Time

May 13th 2017 (Saturday)  You can still get that Sunday Long Run in and spend time with your family on Mother's Day. 

5k Start - 7:00 AM

Kids dash - 8:00 AM

Get pumped up with the cool sounds of Acoustic Memories. They will be playing all your favorite pre race jams.

Free Coffee will be available from Don Francisco Coffee!

1/4 mile kids race! This cost is a donation and all the proceeds go to Youth On Their Own.

Race Awards

Cash prizes will be presented to top 3 Overall Male and Female Winners 1st $100, 2nd $50, 3rd $25 and Overall Masters Male and Master Female 1st $50, 2nd $25, 3rd Swag bag. $50 if the winner breaks a course record!  Overall and masters. DOUBLE DIPPING FOR OVERALL AND MASTERS.

Age group awards will be presented in 5 year age categories.  Top 3 moms get a bouquet of flowers!

Purchase raffle tickets for a one night stay at the beautiful Lodge on the Desert.  All the proceeds will be an additional donation for Youth On Their Own!  Tickets available at prerace packet pick up and race day. $5 each or 5 for $20.  Winner announced during the awards ceremony. 

Kids' and Post-Race Activities

Enjoy post race goodies and music by Acoustic Memories.
1/4 mile kids race. Cost is a donation. All proceeds go to Youth On Their Own. Race will start at 8am.

  • Print Registration Form and mail it in. Registration by mail must be postmarked by Saturday, April 29, 2017.
