One of the fastest 5Ks in the West! This pancake-flat, fast course provides the perfect opportunity for a 5K PR.

The Tucson 5000 is part of the 2010 Running Shop Grand Prix produced by Southern Arizona Roadrunners and will constitute the 2010 RRCA Arizona State Championship. Proceeds from the event will benefit Pima Community College Cross-country Team and The Symphony Women’s Association Music Education Program.

Race Distances and Courses
Fast, flat, USATF-certified 5K course around Reid Park. There will be a water station at the halfway point.
Location
Reid Park, Ramada 14. Access Reid Park from Country Club, first entrance north of 22nd Street.
Race Fees
$18 - SAR Member, mailed by 5/10/10
$20 - Non-SAR Member, mailed by 5/10/10
$25 - ALL after 5/10/10 and on Race Day
Registration
- Register online with a credit card at active.com.
- Walk-in registration and packet pick-up will be at the Running Shop, 3055, N. Campbell Avenue – map) from 10am to 3pm on Saturday May 15th.
- Race-day registration and packet pick-up will be at Ramada 14, Reid Park from 5.30 a.m. on race day.
Beneficiaries
Proceeds will benefit the Pima Community College Cross-country team and The Women’s Symphony Association Music Education Program
