The Spring Cross Country Classic is a fun filled 5k through the scenic rolling trails of Lincoln Park.  There are separate races for men and women, and a wide variety of age groups means everyone competes for prizes,  Lincoln Park is located on Tucson’s east side and has some great vantage points to watch the races.  The Spring Cross Country 5K is proud to continue the tradtion of excellent cross country racing in Southern Arizona!

This year the men will run first followed by the women’s race.

We will be adding a walker category this year- All walkers will start at the back of the men's runners

Date and Time

Packet Pickup will be on Friday, March 6th at The Running Shop from 3:00-6:00 PM

OR  Race Morning, Saturday, March 7th at Lincoln Park 4325 S Pantano Rd. ( Don't forget to enter through the Pantano entrance) starting at 6:15 AM

Awesome overall and age group prizes from our friends at The Running Shop and Saucony!
Age groups will be 11 and under, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

After the race, get together with family and friends to enjoy a day in the park with a free pancake breakfast, family-friendly activities, donkeys and games.

Kids' and Post-Race Activities

Enjoy what the beautiful Arizona Spring weather has to offer and stay and play in the park! There will be donkeys to take for a stroll, a jumping castle and towel tag for the family to play together.

  • Print Registration Form and mail it in. Registration by mail must be postmarked by Saturday, February 29, 2020.
  • Register online
  • Packet pick-up will be held, Friday, March 6th from 3-6pm at The Running Shop located at 3055 N Campbell Ave. You can also pick up your bib on the day of the race
  • Race day registration is at 6:15am-7:15am

Race Distances and Courses

The cross-country course winds its way through the desert surrounding Lincoln Park, mainly on dirt trails and a scenic jaunt through the bird sanctuary. This 5K race features a challenging course with rolling hills through the desert and finishes on grass to Ramada 1 at Upper Lincoln Park leading to an exciting kick to the finish!
