2018 Race Weekend Schedule

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Friday Night, November 30 at The Running Shop, 3055 North Campbell Avenue
Pick up your shirt, your wineglass, and your race number -- then hang out and shop at Tucson's original local running shoe store -- snag some holiday gifts for loved ones and yourself!!
YES: you can pick up the number and goodies for other people
YES: please be nice to the volunteers
NO: you do not need ID
NO: at this point there are no race transfers & no refunds
Saturday morning, December 1 at KINO VETERAN’S MEMORIAL STADIUM - 2500 E Ajo Way, Tucson, AZ 85713
6:15 am - 6:45 am At tents in front of Kino Stadium main entrance, you can pick up your race number, wineglass, and shirt + last-chance in-person registration.
7:00 am Start of TMC BE Tucson Men & Women’s 5k (start is near main entrance to stadium)
7:30 am Fitness Expo begins, including free breakfast on concourse in stadium
8:00 am Community Insurance Enrollment begins
8:30 or so TMC BE Tucson 5k Awards in front of stadium
8:45 am United Healthcare Girls on the Run (GOTR) Welcome
8:50 am GOTR Group Warmup - led by p31 fitness instructor and UofA Volleyball Athletes
9:00 am GOTR 5k Start, in front of stadium - UofA Athletes will lead a Parade of Schools through the Vendor Mall out Gate B.

​We've put together a super-cool and speedy course that starts in front of the Kino Veteran's Memorial Stadium and ends on the centerfield of the stadium.  Beautiful views, unique and fast course --great for personal bests and awesome for havin' fun!   The first 300 male and female registrants receive the traditional wine glass, a free breakfast, and a soft women's tank top or unisex t-shirt.

Women's Individual 5k Run or Walk

$25 through Septmber 30 - offer concluded

SAR members receive 10% off each individual (non-team) entry through November 1st -- sorry this discount offer has concluded

News Course Info

Race Distances and Courses

5k Course: Starts just east of the main entrance to the baseball stadium.  The race will then head around the stadium, north on Forgeus, and then take a sharp left turn to enter the park heading clockwise.  You'll do one lap of this scenic bike path (follow the yellow arrows below), then swing back onto Forgeus and head back to an outer loop of the stadium (follow the blue arrows below), dropping down a steep hill and sprinting 100 yards along the baseball field to finish on the outfield grass.

Water is at Mile 1 and at Mile 2.  Thanks to the Tucson Tri-Girls and TMC for helping with the water!

Kino Veteran's Memorial Stadium, 2500 East Ajo -- easy access with plenty of free parking!  Take I-10 to the Kino Parkway North Exit 263B. Traveling north on Kino Parkway, take a right at the first light to Ajo Way. Turn left onto Ajo Way. At Forgeus Street, turn right to get to Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium facility.  The race starts in front of the stadium and will include Forgeus Street, so be sure to get an early start.  Click here for all the location details, including directions and instructions for convenient and free parking.
