The Great Pumpkin 5K at Buckelew Farms - FINAL NOTES

We’re just a few days away from 4th Annual Great Pumpkin 5K at Buckelew Farms.  This race has grown beyond all of our hopes and we owe it to you: our participants, supporters, designated cheerers, and sponsors for making this event a huge success.  Thank you!

A few final notes about the race this weekend:

PRE -RACE:

Print Registration Form and bring it to The Running Shop on or before Saturday, October 13.
Register online with a credit card at active.com.  Online registration closes Friday, October 12 at 6 p.m.
Packet pick-up & Pre-registration at The Running Shop on Saturday, 10/13/12, from 10am - 3pm. Please note that only cash or checks are accepted for payment.
Packet pick-up and Race-day registration from 6:15 – 7:15am. Please note that only cash or checks are accepted for payment.

DAY OF RACE

-Thanks to the Buckelew family, the entry fee into Buckelew Farms is waived so that you may purchase your own pumpkin.  All those that are in the park by race time (7:30a) will not be charged for entry.  Those arriving after race start will need to enter when the farm opens and a pay a fee. So it’s simple, arrive early, run a great race (or cheer your favorite racer), have a great time, enjoy crafts and other activities for the entire family!

-Due to safety concerns, Buckelew Farms has a no dog policy this year.  Please leave Fido at home for the race, we’re sure he’d much rather sleep in than run through the haunted corn maze anyway!

-This is a cross country style race though farm fields and uneven terrain.  Baby joggers are allowed, but please be aware that some parts of the race may take extra time to navigate while you’re little one is enjoying the view!
