RACE RECAP - Jim Click’s Run n’ Roll 2019

steve outridge November 22, 2019

The weather was absolutely perfect on race day for the 2019 edition of Jim Click's Run n' Roll on the beautiful U of A campus. This was the second year on the new course and everyone was very happy with it. The new T-shirt style, fit and fabric were a hit this year. The plan is to keep it similar next year with a new and exciting color. The University of Arizona always does a great job with sponsors and vendors to give everyone a fun atmosphere throughout the race experience.

We had an amazing turnout with over 400 finishers of the 8K and over 150 in the 3K!

Here are the top performances in the 8K:

First place wheel chair - Miguel Jimenez from Tucson 19:22.0

First place male - Harry Mulenga from Tucson 24:33:00

First place female - Nicole Pearce from Tucson 29:49:00

Male Masters - Chris Mcmordie from Tucson 29:06:00

Female Masters - Sharon Silvas from Tucson 33:26:00

Thanks to all of the incredible volunteers and their efforts through packet pick up, registration, to course monitors and water station helpers. I love the fact that SAR volunteers step in when and where needed, ALWAYS!

We'll see all of you next year.
