Reid Park

Description

This central city park has much to offer: a flat, paved, multi-use path looping the Del Urich and Randolph Golf Courses, a very popular 800 meter dirt track, and grass running opportunities, as well as many water and bathroom facilities.

Road Options

The 2.98 mile, paved David Bell Multi-Use Path loops the Randolph and Del Urich Golf Courses. It’s marked at quarter-mile intervals, is lit at night, and has water fountains at each corner. The Rec Center (near the corner of Broadway and Alvernon) has bathroom facilities.

Trail Options

A popular 800 meter dirt track. The track is the outfield warning track that circles the four practice fields immediately west of Hi Corbett Field. The track is home of The Workout Group’s coached interval and speed sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Many water and bathroom facilties are close by.
