Race Description
The only
Tucson race with a Beer Garden and Pot-Luck! This is a fun-filled, low-cost,
no-frills, 5K cross-country event through the scenic trails (with some small, rolling hills) of Lincoln Park
featuring separate races for men and women. The other division is always there
to cheer you on! Choose your race t-shirt from a grab bag of shirts from other
club runs.

Race Distances and Course
The 5K cross-country course (newly designed in 2005) winds its way through the desert surrounding
Lincoln Park, mainly on dirt trails. The course features two loops through the
desert and some small rolling hills. The flat finish on the grass in Lincoln
Park leads to some exciting finish line competition!

Lincoln Park-Ramada #1
Pantano just south of Escalante. Park off of Escalante.
Awards
Overall Male and Female and Masters Male and Female winners will recieve a pair of Saucony shoes courtesy of the Running Shop. Age group winners will recieve gift certificates to the Running Shop, with second place recieving Clif Bar Gift Bags. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-and-up.

Beer Garden and Potluck
Tucson's only race with a beer garden! During the awards ceremony, have a beer on us (with valid ID and race number). A potluck will be held after the race - bring a dish to share and hang out with friendly runners.
