Race Description
The 5K cross-country course winds its way through the desert surrounding Lincoln Park, mainly on dirt trails. The course features a challenging two-loop course with rolling hills through the desert. Due to construction, the course will be slightly modified from last year. The new course will provide better views of lower Lincoln Park. The finish, along a paved path up to Ramada 1 at Upper Lincoln Park, leads to some exciting finish line competition!

Race Distances and Course
The 2nd Race in the SAR TRIPLE CROWN SERIES, the Spring Cross-Country is a fun filled, low cost 5k through the scenic rolling trails of Lincoln Park. This year’s race features new age groups making this race a truly family-friendly event. In addition, there are separate races for men and women. The loop course lets everyone be both a participant and spectator. Choose your race t-shirt from a grab bag of shirts from other club runs.

Pantano just south of Escalante. Park off of Escalante.
Awards
There will be prize money to the overall top three finishers. Prize money is courtesy of topofusion.com.
Prize break-down is as follows:
First - $100
Second - $50
Third - $25
Age groups will be 11 and under, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-45, 50-54, 55-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85+
Top three overall and Master's winner will be taken out of age group awards. All participants are eligible for raffle prizes.

Race day registration 6:30-7:00 (women) and 6:30-7:45 (men).
Beer Garden and Potluck
After the race, get together with family and friends and enjoy a day in the park with family-friendly activities and games. There will also be a pot-luck so bring your favorite family dish. Enjoy Tucson's only race with a beer garden! During the awards ceremony, have a beer (with valid ID and race number) or non-alcoholic punch on us.
