Meet Us Downtown to celebrate Tucson's city center - join the Southern Arizona Roadrunners and be a part of a great Downtown experience!
Join us Saturday night, June 7th, 2008 for a fast and fun 5k that winds through Downtown neighborhoods. Our goal is to help revitalize Downtown Tucson– so come on down and enjoy Saturday night . . .
Thanks to all those who took our survey, the film to be shown will be Spirit of the Marathon. The first 1,000 participants will receive a free ticket to the showing to be held after the race (curtain at approximately 8:00pm).
5K race and family fitness walk: the flat double-loop course will let you share the fun with walkers and runners of all abilities. Start/finish at La Placita Village, winding through the neighborhoods to the north and south, crossing Broadway via the pedestrian bridge connecting La Placita and Presidio Plaza. There’s plenty of parking nearby.
Our goal is to help revitalize Downtown - so come on down and see what’s goin’ on in Downtown Tucson!
Entry fees include several early-registration discount options, but all registration by mail must be postmarked May 30th.

In-person registration and early registration packet pick-up is available at The Running Shop (3055 N Campbell - map). Register for the race and pick up your shirt and race number on Saturday, June 7th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Race day registration & packet pick-up will be available La Placita Village (110 South Church Street), starting at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 7th. Please arrive early enough to register on time!
All 5k registrants will receive a t-shirt and will be eligible for a variety of raffle prizes. Prizes presented to top-three in 5-year age groups. Top finishers taken out of age group awards. All participants are eligible for raffle prizes. Prize money to top finishers, courtesy of The Tucson Association of REALTORS®.
